Day 1: CUSCO - CACHORA - CHIQUISKA
Early in the morning we take a scenic trip of about 4 hours to the town of Cachorra where we meet our muleteers. We start our walk of approximately 2 hours towards the Abra de Kapuliyoq (2800 m) where we have the first amazing view of the deep valley of the Apurimac river and the snow-capped peaks around. A descent of about 3 hours takes us to our first camp in Chiquiska (1800 m). 

D & iacute; 2: CHIQUISKA - CHOQUEQUIRAO
After breakfast we started our descent, appreciating magnificent landscapes of the Apurimac Canyon up to 1495 m where we passed the suspension bridge of the Apurimac River. From there It takes us a long and hard climb of about 5 hours to our destination: The beautiful archaeological site of Choquequirao. We arrived just in time to enjoy the incredible sunset over the snowy peaks before a delicious dinner and a well deserved rest in our camp (3000 m). Today we visit the restored part and explore the recently discovered places that are being excavated and restored by COPESCO. After lunch we have an optional visit to Casa Cascada (about 300 m below Choquequirao) and we spent an afternoon entertaining with a Pachamanca (andean food is made in an earth oven). From the highest point: El Usno we appreciate again the decline over the magnificent fall of the Apurimac. 

Day 3: CHOQUEQUIRAO - PINCHAUNUYUC
After the visit of Choquequirao and lunch we started our trek, after a short climb we are taken to the open where we enjoy a different view of the beautiful Choquequirao and the deep valley of the Apurimac. In a short descent we arrive at the archaeological remains of Pinchaunuyoc, where we will camp covered still by the vegetation. 

Day 4: PINCHAUNUYUC - MAIZAL
After visiting the site we continue down to the White River where we can refresh during lunch. In the afternoon we continue to climb for 4 hours to our campsite in Maizal where we will have our camp. 

Day 5: MAIZAL - YANAMA
After breakfast We climb the Abra Victoria entering the Inca Trail. After our lunch we continue with the descent, passing different abandoned Silver Mines, until we reach the town of Yanama where we camp tonight. 

Day 6: YANAMA - TOTORA
Today's tour is in the middle of Nevados, ascending the Yanama pass, where we have lunch. In the afternoon we started our long descent of about 6 hours to the edge of the jungle and our beautiful campsite in Totora. 

Day 7: TOTORA - BEACH
This morning we left very early, going down by jungle edge to Mu & ntilde; ay Little where we will have lunch and after this we will arrive at the place called Playa, where we will camp. 

Day 8: BEACH - LLACTAPATA - AGUAS CALIENTES
We cross the river to the right bank to ascend through some coffee plantations to the viewpoint from where we can observe Machupicchu from an exceptional angle. We pass by Llactapata where we will appreciate some varieties of birds and where we will visit the archaeological center. Two hours downhill takes us to the hydroelectric train station to Aguas Calientes where there are hot springs. 

Day 9: AGUAS CLAIENTES - MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO
Today is dedicated only to visit the archaeological wonder of Machu Picchu and in the afternoon we will go down to the town of waters to take the train back to Cusco.
