Day 1: CUSCO - SANTA MARIA.
We pick them up from the hotel in the morning at approximately 7:30 a.m. and we head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, where we can appreciate beautiful natural attractions. At approximately noon we will arrive at the Abra Málaga (4350 m.n.m.) point of departure for our bicycle tour, descending towards the high jungle, passing through small towns, fruit fields and rivers. Arrival in Santa Maria at 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (lunch, dinner and overnight in a very basic lodging).
Day 2: SANTA MARIA - SANTA TERESA.
We got up around 5:00 a.m. and after breakfast we start walking along the riverbank. We can witness along the way, animals of the region such as birds (parrots, hummingbirds, eagles, wild cats, centipedes, lizards) medicinal plants and fruits such as (banana, mango, orange, tangerines, cocoa, pacay and sombre coca, coffee, etc) then we will arrive to the small town Quellomayo, rest and lunch. We continue until we reach the thermal (medicinal) baths of Santa Teresa, after a relaxing bath we go to the town of Santa Teresa arriving at approximately 5:00 in the afternoon. (breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight in a basic lodging).
Day 3: SANTA TERESA - AGUAS CALIENTES.
After breakfast we continue with our itinerary taking a minibus that will take us to Lucmabamba which is the gateway to an Inca trail newly discovered in 2003. The route is still intact for the tourism mass, and offers a unique view of Machu Picchu as well. of also being able to observe the sacred mountain of the Salkantay. After 3 hours of walking you will arrive at a sacred place called Llactapata, where you can still see how the jungle covered part of Inca remains.
Lunch in Llactapata to continue with the walk to the hydroelectric station. You can take the train that will take you to the town of aguas calientes which will be the resting place of the third night.
At night you can take a walk around the city (hostel included).
Day 4: MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO.
Very early in the morning at 4:00 a.m. We will wake up and we will go to the citadel of Machupicchu a way up through the jungle, having the opportunity to see the sunrise after checking in at the park 6:20 am, we will continue towards the Inti Punkuo gate of the sun after this activity will be guided for 2 hours and then free time to see other attractions such as wiñayhuayna, Inca bridge, or the temple of the moon, until noon. Return to Aguas Calientes. Return train to Poroy in the afternoon. Followed by a bus to Cusco.
