The excursion starts early in the morning when we pick you up from your hotel. Then we leave for the train station located in the city of Poroy or Ollantaytambo according to your choice and the availability of trains.
We board the train for the majestic citadel of Machu Picchu
The travel time is approximately 4 hours from the moment we pick them up at the hotel. During the trip we will appreciate a diversity of natural landscapes and the impressive Urubamba River.
After the trip we arrive at the Puente Ruinas Station located in Machupicchu Town. Here will be waiting for the guide for the guided tour in Machu Picchu. From the village the buses will be taken to make the ascent to the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu that lasts approximately 25 minutes.
Accompanied by a professional guide we start the tour appreciating the panoramic view of the citadel of Machu Picchu , we continue visiting the Main Square, the Tower Circular, the Sacred Solar Clock, the royal enclosures, the Temple of the Three Windows, the cemeteries and the whole city approximately for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Then you will have free time to take a walk around the citadel and take pictures.
After the tour you can descend to the town of Aguas Calientes to take lunch in one of the various restaurants and make purchases.
At approximately 4:30 p.m. we will take the train back to Cusco, the return also takes 4 hours from the train station to the hotel, upon arriving at the train station. from Poroy or Ollantaytambo, we will be waiting for you to take you to your hotel.
