Day 1: CUSCO - SORAYPAMPA
We start from the city of Cusco very early in a trip of 3 ½ hours to Mollepata to then start the trek to Challa cancha and in the afternoon continue until Soraypampa place of our first camp.
Day 2: SORAYPAMPA - HUAYRACMACHAY
After a good breakfast we prepared to undertake the hardest trek of the trek, leaving at 07:00 a.m. We cross all the place called Pampa Salkantay and then go to the left side of the snow-capped Umantay which is next to the snowy Salkantay, at 12:00 p.m We will be at the highest point - Pass Salkantay Umantay at 4,500 m. - On this site we observe the snow-capped glaciers of the Salkantay and appreciate the magnificent view of the fall of the snow avalanches and then descend to Huayracmachay where we will camp.
Day 3: HUAYRACMACHAY - LLUSKAMAYO
This day will be unforgettable because along the way we will see a lot of flora and fauna, starting from Huayracmachay we will pass through the community of Arranniyuc and continue descending towards the jungle , where we will appreciate the formation of thermal waters in a small valley, and then follow the course of the Santa Teresa river, observing in this section several varieties of orchids and waterfalls of great magnitude, finally we arrive at our campsite in the site called Lluskamayo.
Day 4: LLUSKAMAYO - AGUAS CALIENTES
We will leave in the morning in the middle of the jungle, appreciating a variety of crops including coffee, bananas, avocado, pineapple and the most interesting is to see some coca leaf crops, sacred grass of the Incas, arriving at Sahuayaco and descending a carriage trail as we descend we will also have a view of an unusual angle of Machupicchu, we continue descending until we reach the Hydroelectric where we will board the train that takes us to Aguas Calientes where we will spend the night in a hotel.
Day 5: MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO
This day will only be dedicated to visit the wonder of Machupicchu taking after the tour with the guide enough time to explore it on our own and in the afternoon we will board the return train to Cusco
